George Michael has spoken of his nerves ahead of his performance at the London 2012 closing ceremony - his first live show since his pneumonia bout in 2011.
The singer has not performed live for over a year after a series of health scares which forced him to cancel live shows at the end of 2011. Michael was hospitalised with pneumonia, and eventually wrote his 2012 comeback single 'White Light' about the experience.
"Hey everyone, how are you. Spending most of the next week rehearsing like crazy for the Olympic closing ceremony.....," said the star on Twitter. "Obviously a bit nervous not having played for nearly a year, but rehearsals sounding great so far!"
George Michael previously revealed that he was in a coma for three weeks - and woke to find he was talking with a Westcountry accent.
