Katy Perry has shared some very personal information about what goes on behind the scenes at her live shows, revealing she wees in a bucket and attempts to throw up into a bin before gigs.
Fortunately these scenes were left out of her recent documentary Part Of Me 3D, but the star has opened up about how nervous she gets before going on stage.
"You walk on stage feeling like Mary Poppins but really you've just had your skin zipped, peed in a bucket and been dry-heaving over the trash can," she tells The Sun newspaper.
Perry is currently preparing to record her third album, but despite having recently divorced husband Russell Brand, she has promised the follow up to Teenage Dream will not be a collection of ballads about how sad she is.
"I’d never devote a whole record to heartbreak,” she told Capital FM. “I’m happy, I’m in a good place, I’m looking forward to my future”.
“I would love to just let it be the black box of who I am,” she added, saying that she expects the album to be “darker” than her previous material - perhaps with lyrics about weeing in bins.
