Gary Barlow has thanked his fans for their messages of support and well wishes following the death of his daughter, Poppy, earlier this week.
As reported on Gigwise, Poppy Barlow was stillborn on August 4th. The tragic news was broken on 6 August 2012 and expressed the devastation of both Gary and his wife of 12 years, Dawn Andrews.
"Dawn and I are devastated to announce that we’ve lost our baby. Poppy Barlow was delivered stillborn on August 4th in London," said Barlow's spokesperson in an official statement.
Fan tributes began immediately on Facebook and Twitter with Barlow turning to his social networks to thank his supporters.
"Your kind words and lovely messages are overwhelming. thank you," he wrote yesterday (Aug 7).
Meanwhile, both Robbie Williams and Gary's X Factor co-star Tulisa have spoken out about the tragedy with Robbie saying: "My thoughts are with Gary, Dawn and family right now x."
X Factor judge Tulisa added: "My thoughts & prayers are with @GBarlowOfficial and wife dawn tonight. Heartbreaking x."
Gary and Dawn have three children Daniel, Emily and Daisy (who are 12, 10 and three).
