David Guetta has spoken of his disappointment at Lady Gaga's 2011 album Born This Way, saying that a collaboration with him would have made it a better record.

The producer was scheduled to work with Gaga on the album, and has expressed his regret that their collaboration never took place. Instead, the star was left with tracks such as mega-hits 'The Edge Of Glory' and 'Marry The Night'. Ho hum.

"Yeah, because I think we could have done something amazing on her last record, Born This Way," says Guetta - reports ContactMusic. "Her last record was to me very disappointing. She's an amazing artist, and she deserves to be always looking ahead, like she did with her first album."

Guetta also teased info about her next album, ARTPOP, saying he is friends with the producer working on the record.

"But actually I know for a fact - because I know who she's working with now - that the next album is going to be absolutely crazy. He's someone really good, a young kid."

David Guetta recently premiered his new single, 'She Wolf (Falling To Pieces)' with singer Sia.
