Pete Doherty has revealed plans to write new tracks with Carl Barat, sparking rumours of a potential reunion of The Libertines.

The duo are set to team up for a songwriting session in Thailand, reveals Pete, saying that the pair will meet in Paris before potentially embarking on a trip East.

"I spoke to Carl yesterday and he's going to come out to Paris," Doherty said in an interview with online show Hernu & Harris Unhinged.

"Then maybe we'll go back out to Thailand together and do some writing."

He also revealed he had taken a three-week sex break, adding: "It's been three and a half weeks since I've laid beside a woman in the biblical sense. It's been good for my head."

Doherty was recently forced to pay a poet £10,000 for lyrics he had apparently stolen for Babyshambles track, 'Baddie's Boogie'.
