Blur have revealed plans to release their Hyde Park reunion show on CD and DVD under the name 'Parklive'.
The plan to release recordings of the gig may please the fans who complained about how low the volume was at Hyde Park on Sunday (Aug 12) with many of the 60,000 audience struggling to hear the band's set.
Parklive will be released as a 3-CD set which will also feature a disc of live recordings from the band's recent warm-up shows, including the London 100 Club gig. That will be on sale priced £20. Additionally, a 5-CD bound book edition featuring full audio recordings from both Hyde Park and The 100 Club plus a DVD of the Hyde Park gig, will also be available for around £45.
Meanwhile, Damon Albarn has praised two time Olympic champion Mo Farah saying that he believes him to be the perfect representation of modern London.
