Mel C is eager to return to her Spice Girls roots once again, following a show-stopping performance at Sunday night's Olympics closing ceremony.

The singer has revealed she would may well reunite with Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton and Victoria Beckham again, revealing every time they get back together is a surprise to her.

"I never ever thought we'd get back together, but we did in 2007/2008. I'm really glad we did because it was brilliant and I really enjoyed it," says Mel C in an interview with Digital Spy. "There's absolutely nothing to say we wouldn't do it again at some point in the future."

The Spice Girls were among the highlights of Sunday night's London 2012 closing ceremony, which has given a sales boost to many of the performers.

The show wasn't without criticism however, with George Michael's performance of his new single 'White Light' coming under fire from viewers.

Pink Floyd fans were also outraged when Ed Sheeran fans began tweeting about Sheeran's 'new song' he performed at the event - a cover of Pink Floyd's 'Wish You Were Here'.
