Gary Barlow has changed his plans to jet to Mallorca for X Factor's Judges Houses stage in the talent show competition, choosing to stay closer to home following his recent family tragedy.
The head judge was due to fly his category to a luxury villa in the mediterranean for the penultimate section of the audition process, but following the death of daughter Poppy, has opted to film the section in the UK instead.
"The Mallorca plan has been ditched," says a source to The Sun newspaper. "Gary is in no fit state to be out of the country. Everyone is completely behind whatever he wants to do.
"He has said that he will stick to the planned September 10 and 11 dates but now we are looking for a suitable venue near London."
Earlier this week, it was announced that Gary Barlow would not attend the X Factor launch. He performed with Take That at the Olympics closing ceremony last weekend.
Robbie Williams is set to join Barlow at the Judges House stage, while Tinie Tempah is rumoured to be aiding Tulisa, and newcomer Nicole Scherzinger will be joined by Ne-Yo.
