Lady Gaga has revealed she is to feature on a new single by rapper Kendrick Lamar and it is set for release next month.
'Partynauseous' will come out on September 6, followed by the Lamar's major label debut album, 'good kid, m.A.A.d city' in October.
Gaga Tweeted: "I am so excited to announce that a record I've been working on has now become a collaboration with @KendrickLamar for HIS ALBUM."
She went on to describe her inspiration for the new track: "I wrote "PARTYNAUSEOUS" about Jakarta, and my relationship with that country. Wishing I could "get high with the enemy" and make peace."
She added: "Once @kendricklamar + I started talking about life + his forward thinking views about love + hip hop, the song became something more."
The singer, who is also working on her third album, posted a photo of herself and the rapper in the studio last month.
Gaga has been an admirer of Lamar for some time, having sent a series of complimentary Tweets about his single 'Swimming Pool (the Drank)'.
She was also spotted watching the rapper perform at a music festival in Chicago in July.
Gaga confirmed recently via an arm tattoo that her next album, ARTPOP, is likely to be released in spring 2013, with an official announcement next month.
