Baroness, the band involved in a serious bus crash in Bath earlier this week, have updated fans on their wellbeing.

Posting on their official website, Baroness told fans how they have suffered broken limbs and that three of the four members are still receiving treatment in the medical facility following Wednesday's crash (Aug 15). One member of the band has been discharged.

"The band members of Baroness and their crew are recovering from injuries sustained after their tour bus crashed outside of Bath, England early on Wednesday morning," reads the statement.

Continuing: "John Baizley has broken his left arm and left leg. Allen Blickle and Matt Maggioni each suffered fractured vertebrae. All three remain in the hospital as of this writing. Pete Adams has been treated and released from the hospital."

"Three of the five crew members who were on the bus have also been treated and released. One member is still undergoing testing. The driver of the bus remains in critical condition."

"Please stay tuned for further updates. Thank you for all the support during this extremely difficult time."

The Baroness bus crash occured at the junction of Brassknocker Hill and the A36 close to Limpley Stoke Bridge as the band travelled to Southampton for a gig. Nine people were believed to be in the coach, which fell 30 feet over a viaduct.

Mechanic Richard Kelly, 24, who works at the nearby Greenfuel Co garage, told the Daily Mail: 'It looks like the coach has gone through the traffic lights, skidded through a fence and fallen onto the road below.

'It's a sheer drop. The coach managed to land on its wheels - but it was a mess. The front of it was completely caved in and there was a lot of damage to the back too.'

Baroness subsequently cancelled their remaining European tour dates following the accident.
