Gary Barlow has vowed that he will return to the X Factor in time to mentor his acts as they stake their claim for the 2012 title.
Barlow bowed out of the preliminary stages of the talent show, after his and wife Dawn's new baby girl Poppy was delivered stillborn.
With regard to the X Factor, the singer recently said: "I'll be watching the show at home on Saturday with my family and I know you're going to love it. The talent is amazing this year and I'm looking forward to working with and mentoring my acts at judges homes and on the live shows."
During the 'Judges Homes' section of the show, the mentors usually take their acts abroad to an exotic location, however it looks as though Barlow will be staying in the UK this year.
The Take That singer recently performed the 'headline' slot at the Olympic closing ceremony, blasting out a rendition of 'Rule the World'.
