Blur guitarist Graham Coxon is set to follow a Summer of reunion gigs with his former bandmates by appearing on Example's new album 'The Evolution Of Man'.
The unlikely duo met when Example, real name Elliot Gleave, met Coxon backstage at a festival - seizing his chance to ask the man behind hits such as 'Coffee + TV' and 'Tender' for a collaboration.
“It was funny, I think Graham only realised who I was because his son asked for a picture. If you don’t ask you don’t get, so I said I’d love to work with him," Example told The Sun.
“He said he was game and invited me over to his house. The track we’ve produced is something to be proud of.”
Meanwhile, Example recently announced details of a huge UK arena tour set to kick off in 2013.
