Despite previous reports that The Spice Girls were considering another reunion in 2012, reports suggest that their closing ceremony performance was their final show.
Mel B was heard telling her girlgroup co-stars before the show, "This is it girls, the last time - enjoy it," reports The Daily Star, seemingly quashing reports that it had been her who was pushing for another full Spice reunion.
The tabloid also adds that it is Victoria Beckham's disinterest in a Spice future that has spelled the end for the five-piece.
A source tells the newspaper: "Victoria loved one final swansong but that's it for her. All the girls had the most amazing night and I'm sure the rest could be persuaded to reform again."
Beckham previously revealed she was 'sick' with nerves before the closing ceremony performance, claiming it was bandmate Emma Bunton who calmed her nerves before the show.
