Bloc Party have taken to Twitter to announce that they will play a 'celebratory' gig tonight at Birthdays in Dalston, N16.

The band tweeted: 'No more clues: GIG! Birthdays! London N16! Tomo! Free and first come first serve.'

The 'Octopus' singers are celebrating the fact that their new album, 'Four' is currently number one in the midweek UK album chart.

The gig is free, and doors will open at 7:30, first come first serve. The show will start at 8:30, but if you want to get in, we reccommend you get there very, very early.
