Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger are engaged. yeah sure there's a ten year age gap, and they look like father and daughter, but hey! When love strikes, there's nothing you can do about it.
Speaking to People magazine, a source said: "A romantic relationship blossomed as they spent time writing together."
It is reported that 'How You Remind Me' star Kroeger proposed on August 8, handing Avril a 14-carat diamond engagement ring. The families of both Chad and Avril "could not be more excited" according to People's source.
