Fred Durst has denied that Limp Bizkit are to split up, despite saying himself that the nu-metal band are 'over'.
Perhaps acknowledging that the band are no longer at the peak of their game, Durst was recently quoted as saying that "We were a moment in time and it's over." This led many to suspect that the 'Rollin' band might call it quits.
However, this is far from the case with Durst clearing the record with TMZ, telling the publication that the band have a new single out "really soon actually".
Speaking about the new material, which will be released via Lil Wayne's Young Money label, Durst said: "It's off the hook, man. Adding: "It's gonna knock you out."
It was earlier this month that Durst made his claims about Limp Bizkit, telling Metal Injection that: "We don't play back home. We've boycotted America for many years now. I don't know, I just don't wanna go out like that. We did a few radio shows in 2010 for a friend and that was it. We haven't properly toured America since 2006."
He went on to explain why they hadn't played in America for so long: "America is driven by record sales. It's the home of corporations. We're just Limp Bizkit, so we don't know how to do anything but Limp Bizkit."
Earlier this year Fred Durst documented a 60 day 'juice-fast', keeping his fans updated on on his 'very difficult' diet programme.
