Green Day may be set to play a surprise gig at Reading Festival this weekend.
A Green Day T-shirt reportedly on sale at one of the band's recent shows in Japan appears to list upcoming gig dates in London and Reading.
The band have already announced a show that appears to fulfil the listed date on the T-shirt at London's Shepherds Bush Empire this week, leading to further speculation about an appearance at Reading Festival this weekend.
Frontman Billy Joe Armstrong also reportedly posted a picture on Instagram, which now appears to have been removed, with the suggestive message: "Hello England! What rhymes with shredding ??!!"
Tonight (22 August) the band are set to perform live on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show from 7pm ahead of their London show tomorrow.
Green Day are leading up to the release of their new album 'Uno!'; the first in a series of three. The band have also announced that they intend to do a 3,000 date world tour following the release of the trio of albums.
It was also reported yesterday (21 August) that Green Day will feature in a specially created edition of the game 'Angry Birds' which will be available later this Autumn.
