Muse frontman Matt Bellamy has spoken about his role as a father, saying he is lucky to have such a placid child who sleeps through the night.
The 'Madness' star is father to one-year-old Bingham and Bellamy has revealed that time has been without the traditional sleepless nights most new parents experience.
"I've been told I'm extremely lucky and I've got no idea what it's like for other people," he told Absolute Radio. "The first six weeks, obviously he was up every three or four hours but after the second month he just seems to be going down at 10 o'clock at night and getting up about six so I think we're very, very lucky.
"He's been a really good sleeper, even with the moving around, he doesn't seem to be affected by jet lag either. We've gone between LA and London and back a couple of times here and there, but he copes with it very well."
Further denting his rock and roll credentials, Bellamy also discussed his recent camping holiday in Devon.
"I've just come back from a lovely camping trip in Devon, I've been hanging out in a field for a few days looking at the sheep go by, it's been lovely, lovely weather," he added. "I love it, it's been a while and it was great to have a little bit of the English countryside."
