Bloc Party are believed to be just 200 sales behind Emeli Sande in the Official Album Chart this week.

'Four', the new Bloc Party album, is narrowly behind Emeli Sande's 'Our Version Of Events', still riding high following her appearance on the Olympics closing ceremony.

Bloc Party, who played a tiny London gig to just 250 fans last night (Aug 22), have started an online campaign to reach the top using the #GetFourToOne hashtag on Twitter.

Elsewhere in the Official Album Chart there looks to be a raft on new entries in the top ten with The Darkness, Jessie Ware, Trey Songz and Aiden Grimshaw all selling highly so far this week.

Meanwhile, over in the singles chart there looks set to be a new number one with Sam and The Womps' single 'Bom Bom' outselling all of the competition in the midweek update.

Other new entries this week look likely to come from Devlin, Taylor Swift, Simple Plan, fun., and Muse.

Check out Sam and The Womp's soon to be number one single, below.
