Fingers are crossed for good weather at this weekend's Reading and Leeds festivals, with a mix of weather expected for both sites.
Fans attending Reading Festival are not only set for a performance from Green Day this weekend, but will also experience the better weather of the two sites. Despite earlier forecasts of heavy rain across the weekend, light showers are expected on Friday and Saturday, but Sunday is set for sunshine - just in time for Sunday night's Foo Fighters headline slot. Temperatures will reach 19 degrees and fall at night to a very tent-appropriate 11 degrees.
Festival-goers heading to Leeds will have it slightly rougher, with light showers expected on Friday before heavy rain on Saturday. There is also a chance of sun among the downpours on Saturday ahead of a dry, but overcast day on Sunday.
Green Day have confirmed their appearance at Reading Festival, where they will perform their classic album Dookie in full. Kasabian recently claimed that headlining Reading and Leeds was the 'biggest honour' and festival goers will be given free beer and breakfast on site across the weekend.
