Naming a band is hard. Ultimately it doesn't matter what you're called, if you're good enough, you'll make it. We have the Arctic Monkeys to act as proof.
However Kings of Leon's bassist Jared Followill clearly wanted to get it right when he started his side project 'Smoke and Jackal' with Mona's frontman Nick Brown.
A 'source' inside the Smoke and Jackal camp leaked this list of 15 names that the duo rejected to Spin magazine, and it's as funny as it is long. Our personal favourites are 'Boss Fatback', 'Long Toke & Grumblefuss' and 'Gator 2!'.
Kings of Leon are currently taking a break between albums to tend to their growing families. Jared is next in line to start his own, after recently announcing that he is engaged to his model girlfriend Martha Patterson. He also took to Twitter to announce that he was excited to finally lose his virginity.
