Justin Hawkins of The Darkness has admitted that he lives in a dogging hotspot and regularly sees men seeking outfoor 'fun' from his window.

The frontman, who has covered Radiohead on new album 'Hot Cakes' with The Darkess, out this week, lives in Lowestoft, East Anglia having recently moved following a split from long term girlfriend.

Speaking to The Guardian about the unusual sights he sees from his new home, Hawkins said: "I rent a house next to a nature reserve and a football pitch, and a beach – a wild one, where people go to do dogging. There's a lot of sex that happens in the bushes. I see men standing in them, fully erect. Happens all the time. It used to be a nudist area. Great place to walk the dogs, although it's not ideal if you don't want to see men's cocks. "

Adding: "You expect people like me to do it, but you'd never catch me dogging."

The Darkness recently spoke to Gigwise about their reunion, admitting: if it all goes wrong then it's all part of the fun.
