24 August, 2012: This year's Leeds Festival kicked off with a headline slot by one of the biggest bands on the planet - The Foo Fighters.

Dave Grohl and the band closed the first night at Leeds with a storming set, packing in all the classic hits from the band's career - and a few cover versions too. Their setlist was as follows:

Leeds Festival continues today (25 August) with a second day of headliners including The Cure, Paramore, The Maccabees and Anti-Flag.

Eighties legends The Cure close the mainstage tonight with a 30-year career-spanning set in Bramham Park, while You Me At Six, Crystal Castles, Bombay Bicycle Club and US band Paramore also feature on the Main Stage line-up.

The Maccabees headline the NME/radio 1 Stage after a year which saw their recent album 'Given to the Wild' reach number 1 on the UK charts.
