A BBC boss has said that main attraction on The Voice is the spinning chairs, promising to show more of them in the revamped second series of the TV talent show.
Bosses at the BBC have been discussing shake-ups for series two, which they hope will prevent the ratings plunge the show experienced during it's 2011 run. The second series will feature more 'blind' auditions, as producers confess there wasn't enough of the spinning chairs.
"It’s not rocket science to say the spinning chairs were the best bit," says BBC entertainment chief Mark Lindsey.
The beeb hopes to ensure Jessie J is joined once again on the panel by Danny O'Donghue, Will.i.am and Tom Jones for the second series, admitting they were pleased with the performance of all four.
"We haven’t signed any contracts yet but we want them all back," adds BBC boss Danny Cohen. "We were really happy with them."
Jessie J confirmed her return earlier this week, telling fans on Twitter: "I WILL be a coach on the 2nd series of The Voice UK! I'm B B B BACK! As I have always said.
"Unless you hear it from me- Don't always believe what you read! Can't wait! #thevoiceuk #weback *fist to the sky* ;)"
