Bombay Bicycle Club have revealed that noisy workmen are causing them to make their new album in the middle of the night.

The band are currently holed up in the studio working hard on the follow up to 2011 album 'A Different Kind Of Fix' but are being kept away from getting anything down in the daylight hours by workmen renovating the building they are using.

“The trouble is there’s a carpenter’s studio below making a lot of noise during the day, so we only get to work at night," frontman Jack Steadman told the Daily Star.

Adding: “We’ve turned into vampires. Maybe it’ll be a record to fall asleep to."

Bombay Bicycle Club took time off from recording to perform at Reading and Leeds Festivals, performing on the main stage before headliners The Cure.
