Lucy Spraggan has seen the album she released independently in 2011 soar into the top five on the iTunes Album Chart after her successful X Factor audition was broadcast over the weekend.
Spraggan, who originally released the 'Top Room At The Zoo' album last year, saw fans flocking to purchase the record online after she wowed judges on the ITV reality show on Saturday (Aug 25).
Confusingly, however, the album was temporarily taken off iTunes before being put back onto the store with the caveat that fans could only purchase the songs individually, not as a whole collection.
'Last Night (Beer Fear)', the original song Spraggan performed for the X Factor judges, immediately jumped to number one on the iTunes track chart.
According to official chart data, Spraggan's album sold 1,056 copies after Saturday night. It had previously sold around 150 copies prior to the TV exposure.
