A pair of Elvis Presley's stained underpants are expected to earn around £10,000 when they go on sale in Manchester next month.

The unique memorabilia, which is being sold 'Unwashed and still soiled with stains', was worn by Elvis in 1977 underneath one of his tradmark white jumpsuits.

The underpants were attained from Elvis' Father Vernon's estate and will go on sale in Stockport, Greater Manchester in September. The auction is being held to mark 35 years since the 'Heartbreak Hotel' star passed away.

Other items set to featue in the auction will include his copy of the Bible and personal home video footage of Elvis, including footage of his wedding to wife Priscilla.

The Bible is expected to earn £25,000 at auction and comes with the line "What is a man advantaged if he gain the whole world and lose himself or be cast away," highlighted.
