Dave Grohl has spoken out to calm fans fears about the future of Foo Fighters after it was suggested that their Reading and Leeds gigs could have been their last ever.
Headlining Reading Festival on Sunday (Aug 26) evening, Grohl told the huge crowd that, "You guys realise we've got a lot of songs to play. It's the last show of the tour and it's the last show for a long time.'
Grohl's words sparked fears that this could be it for Foo Fighters or that at least we may not see them for a long time. However, taking to Twitter Grohl seeked to calm the situation and explained that he merely meant there would be no UK gigs for a long time.
"Jeesh (sic)! Relax... I was only talking to England!! About England... Stop eavesdropping internets!"Grohl Tweeted.
Foo Fighters have a number of US festival dates lined up for September though there is not, as yet, any plans for a new studio album.
