The XX have said they would love to work with Beyonce.
Bassist Oliver Sim said that writing a song for the pop singer has been a dream of his ever since he cried during her performance at Glastonbury in 2011.
He told Q magazine: “The super-pop thing that supposedly died with Michael Jackson is still there, with Beyonce.
“I saw her at Glastonbury and I may have shed a tear," he added. "Writing a song for her, that’s the dream.”
The XX play Bestival on the Isle Of Wight next month, which kicks off on September 6.
The 2010 Mercury Music Prize winners are also set to take part in the second 'BBC Philarmonic Presents...' festival, which will see them perform new songs live with the orchestra.
The band's new 11-track album, 'Coexist', is released on 10 September, from which the song 'Chained' can be heard below.
