Arcade Fire and Strokes members are set to take part in a charity basketball match in Canada this month.
Former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne will also perform with Moment Factory at half time during the match.
Brothers Win and Will Butler of Arcade Fire, The Strokes' bassist Nikolai Faiture, Martin Starr and Luke Bonner are among stars set to play in the annual POP vs. Jock charity basketball match at the POP Montreal music festival on 24 September.
Arcade Fire singer and wife of Win Butler Régine Chassagne will also perform music during the game along with Kid Koala, which takes place at McGill University’s Sports Centre.
All proceeds from the match will fo towards benefiting local youth club DJ SportsClub.
The Strokes recently confirmed that they had started work on their fifth album, the follow up to 2011's 'Angles', in New York.
Meanwhile, Arcade Fire have announced that their fourth album is likely to come out sometime in 2013.
