Beyonce and Kim Kardashian are struggling to make friends with each other, despite their partners - Jay-Z and Kanye West respectively - being close friends.
The two were apparently watching from opposite sides of the stage at Jay-Z's Made In America festival in Philadelphia on Saturday.
A source at the festival told New York Daily News: “Kim and Beyonce barely spoke to each other.”
“They were on opposite sides of the stage," the source added. "Beyonce didn’t even acknowledge [Kardashian] was there until the concert was almost over.”
The pair both at the festival to watch Jay-Z perform his set, during which his fellow Watch The Throne member West also made an appearance, but it seems it wasn't just a matter of Beyonce avoiding Kardashian.
“(Kardashian) didn’t make any efforts to go speak to Beyonce either,” the source said, adding that the two women “made small talk in the dressing room, but you could tell Kim was uncomfortable.
"She clung onto Kanye the entire time and didn’t say much. (Kardashian) was talking to Jonathan (Cheban), and Kanye was talking to Jay-Z and Beyonce.”
Beyonce is rumoured to be working on a new album in New York with Australian singer Sia and LA duo CATARACS, after she posted a cryptic Tweet last month.
Her husband Jay-Z is rumoured to be playing at the Paralympics closing ceremony with Coldplay next week, while Kardashian's boyfriend West has been linked with an American Idol judge role.
