Example has cancelled a string of upcoming live shows after injuring himself on stage.
The 'Kickstarts' rapper has been ordered to rest by doctor, resulting in him having to cancel 10 days’ worth of promo for his new single ‘Say Nothing’, which is released September 16th.
It’s been a busy summer for the star, 48 gigs and 57 flights later and Example has been left with severe tendonitis of the achilles and calf muscles.
According to his Twitter, “I can barely walk. I wish I could do my own shows sat on a throne like Jessie J did but hey – nobody’s perfect. My shows rely on a lot of energy and bouncing around like a lunatic with I can’t do at the moment.”
Earlier today Example tweeted a picture with the caption: ‘This is me all day every day for the next few weeks’.
