E.L. James, the author of best selling 'mummy porn' novel Fifty Shades Of Grey has revealed that she likes to listen to Black Eyed Peas whilst writing her sex scenes.
The writer, who has achieved unprecedented success with her series of novels, was asked this week what she liked to have playing on the stereo when she sits down to write her novels. 48 year old James gave a surprising answer, saying she likes to listen to the song 'Sexy', from the band's 2003 album Elephunk.
Speaking to The Sun, James said: "I have songs that I write sex to. One of them is the Black Eyed Peas' 'Sexy'. That is a very sexy song."
James was speaking at the launch of the Fifty Shades of Grey classical album, a collection of music inspired by the novels.
Earlier this year a pair of radio DJs in America protested against the dominance of the books across the USA by burning copies of the novel in public.
