‘Tik Tok’ annoyance Ke$ha has revealed that she will release a new single at the MTV VMAS last night.
The song, titled 'Die Young', will be the lead from Ke$ha's upcoming second album. Speaking from the red carpet, Ke$ha said: “It’s called ‘Die Young’ and its coming out this month.”
Ke$ha has previously hinted at a follow up to her 2010 debut ‘Animal’ and follow up EP ‘Cannibal’. The provocative singer spoke of a change of direction, “The first two records talked more about partying…but some songs on the new record are more personal and vulnerable.”
Having previously made some bold claims of an invention of a new sort of music ‘
Cock Pop’, she identified,“You can hear more of the music I listen to when I'm lying in my bed. I'm not claiming that it's a rock record - but as long as it's f**king good, you can call it whatever you want. On this record, I said, 'Let's leave the tricks to a minimum and let me wail'."
The auto-tuned, buxom blonde has somehow managed to persuade legend
Iggy Pop to feature on her new record, and boasts that she is now “really close” with
The Flaming Lips after working with them on her upcoming album.
'Rock' on Ke$ha.
