The Joy Formidable have unveiled their new single ‘Cholla’, which is set for release on 14 October.
The track, which can be listened to below, is the first to be taken from the band's second album, 'Wolf's Door', which is expected to hit the shelves in January 2013.
The track was given its first airing on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show last night (6 September) as the DJ's ‘Hottest Record In The World’.
The Welsh band recorded the new album in Maine in the US at the end of last year, before it was mixed in New York with the help of Andy Wallace.
The group are also set to tour the UK this Autumn, with dates expected to be announced shortly.
The Joy Formidable recently performed at Reading and Leeds Festivals, where they previewed new tracks from their upcoming LP.
