Global superstar Rihanna has allegedly stated that she is now 'proud' of ex-boyfriend Chris Brown for the way he has turned his life around, according to friends of the pair.
Rihanna and Chris shared a hug and kiss recently at the MTV Video Music Awards after he took the title for Best Male Video.
"They on a whole new level right now man - you feel me?" A friend tells Hollywood Life. "[Rihanna's] proud of [Chris] for winning awards and giving back to the community and being a role model. That's what kind of s**t [he's] on right now. [Chris is] doing his thing and [he's] being good. That's what's up.
Just yesterday, pictures surfaced of Chris Brown's audacious new tattoo on his neck, which looks spookily like the police report shot of Rihanna's beaten face after he had battered his then- girlfriend back in 2009.
He has denied that the tattoo is anything to do with Rihanna, but we don't think anyone is convinced.
