Yorkshire rockers Pulled Apart By Horses have gotten their hands on Cypress Hill's 2012 track 'Can't Keep Me Down' - and have remixed the track in their own, unmistakable way.
By which we mean turned the hip-hop legends' track into a rock monster, drenched in crashing rock guitars and huge drum beats. Check out the exclusive remix below.
The track is taken from Cypress Hill's EP 'Cypress X Rusko', a collaborative effort with dubstep producer Rusko. Needless to say, any trace of dance or dubstep has been replaced in this new remix.
Cypress Hill hit the UK earlier this year for a sold out live show at The London Forum. We caught up with the three rappers to discuss their past, present and future. We spoke to the about how bands can learn from their experimental approach to music, why electronic production has changed the face of hip-hop, why good rap struggles to break through in the US and whether their backstage antics have mellowed during their years in the business.
