Frank Ocean was joined by Katy Perry's current boyfriend John Mayer for a performance of two tracks on US TV this weekend. Watch the videos below.

Ocean was joined by Mayer who played guitar on his tracks 'Thinkin' Bout You' and 'Pyramids' on Saturday Night Live. During Mayer's guitar solo on Pyramids, Frank Ocean played video games at a retro arcade machine on the stage.

Odd Future star Frank Ocean has been one of the most talked about stars of 2012. He bravely spoke of his sexuality, and love for a man, ahead of the release of his debut solo album Channel Orange in a post on his Tumblr account. The album's lyrics also deal with Ocean's feelings for the man in question.

Ocean spoke of his sexuality during his performance at Lollapalooza in August of this year.

Speaking at the festival, the R&B star spoke before performing his track 'Bad Religion'. The track contains the line "I can never make him love me."

"This next one is pretty important to me," said Ocean to the US festival crowd. "Some of the things I've said in the past month have taken some fear away from myself."

Ocean was due to perform at this year's V Festival and Bestival in 2012 but cancelled his appearances due to vocal issues.
