Adele has been confirmed as the artist to have recorded the James Bond theme for new movie Skyfall.
The '21' star has long been rumoured to be making the theme song for the eagerly anticipated third outing of Daniel Craig's Bond and Total Film have today (Sept 17) confirmed the rumour. Adele's theme song will be called 'Skyfall' after the film.
The theme tune was reportedly recorded in Abbey Road studios, where the pregnant Adele was recently spotted by paparazzi photographers.
Meanwhile, the brand new Bond poster has been revealed today. The stylish shot sees Bond (Craig) in front of a London backdrop, holding his pistol.
Skyfall opens in UK cinemas on October 26th. The film also stars Naomie Harris, Dame Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem.
Adele joins an illustrious list of musicians to have recorded Bond themes with Jack White, Alicia Keys, Madonna and Chris Cornell all getting involved in recent years.
