Controversial US r&b star Chris Brown will have to wait to see if he will be forced to carry out more community service after a court hearing was delayed yesterday (Sept 17).
The singer was due to appear in court in LA over allegations he did not complete his community service after assaulting Rihanna in 2009.
Brown was convicted of a violent attack on his then-girlfriend in 2009 and ordered to serve six months of commnuity service including cleaning litter from roads and graffiti from walls.
However, despite receiving praise for his work during his work, concerns have been raised over the number of hours he completed. There is currently no firm date for when Brown will appear in court.
While fans appear to have forgiven the star wholeheartedly for his attack on Rihanna, others continue to protest his ongoing success and apparent lack of remorse for the incident. Copies of his Fortune album were labelled with stickers which warned people not to buy the album because he 'beats women' were seen in a HMV store in London.
Brown also caused offence recently when he unveiled a new tattoo on his neck which appears to show the beaten face of a woman who bears a striking resemblance to Rihanna. Brown's spokesperson strongly denied that the tattoo was of the star.
