X Factor judge and solo star Tulisa has defended her current single 'Live It Up' after the track missed the Top Ten.
'Live It Up' follows the No.1 success of her solo debut 'Young' and charted this week at No.11 in the UK singles chart. Tulisa claims she is not worried by this however, and that the single's release was part of her grand plan.
"I said I didn't know if it will even get into the Top Ten," she told BBC Newsbeat. "With that single it was strategic to sell the album. I'm not trying to get a No.1 with this one."
"I know it's urban. I know that it's probably not going to chart high. I want to show a different side to the album. For me it's a bigger picture."
She also went on to discuss the impending N-Dubz reunion, saying that she has met with her bandmate and cousin Dappy to discuss their pop return.
"Yesterday I met up with Dappy. We have been chilling out together and the three of us are in talks about setting a date to reunite."
