Ambient dance star Four Tet has premiered his stunning remix of The xx's lead single from their No.1 album 'Coexist'. Listen to the remix below.

The Four Tet remix strips back the already fragile and sparse original to complete minimalism, with little more than a handful of electronic beats backing Romy Madley Croft's distinct vocals.

The remix was premiered during an interview with Huw Stephens after the band performed an exclusive show for the BBC in Bridlington alongside the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.

The xx recently announced a string of European tour dates, including a run of UK gigs in December. For more information, visit Gigwise Gig Tickets.

The xx's full set from Bridlington Opera House is as follows:

Angels
Heart Skipped A Beat
Missing
Fiction
Reunion
Sunset
Tides
Infinity
Stars
