One Direction revealed new single 'Live While We're Young' this week - and among the squeals of praise, many people have accused the X Facotr boyband of ripping off The Clash's classic, 'Should I Stay Or Should I Go'.

There is no deying that the start of the single sounds an awful lot like 'Should I Stay Or Should I Go' by the iconic punk band. The whole song does not bear that much similarity later on but the opening strum of the guitar sounds almost identical to that of Mick Jones on the 1982 hit.

We were not the only ones to notice the similarity, just look at what these Clash fans are saying online.

What do you think? Have One Direction copied The Clash? Or is this a simple mistake. Listen to both songs below and let us know your thoughts.
