A wannabe on the US version of X Factor was rushed to hospital after a successful audition on the American talent show.
Singer Panda Ross complained of being unable to breathe after her audition for the show before being overcome with phlegm in front of young judge Demi Lovato. A medic is called before Ross is stretched away from the audition. After saying "This is not good," Ross is reassured by a female medic to stay optimistic as she had received four yeses from the judges. "I don't want Simon to see me like this, because then he's going to think I can't do it" she says from behind an oxygen mask.
Prior to her performance, Ross revealed she had been previously been hospitalised with pneumonia and was overcome with the chest infection after an impressive performance of Sam Cooke's 'Bring It On Home'.
"Ah man. I can't deny how cool that was," said LA Reid. "I can't deny I love that song. It was the perfect song choice. And look, you moved this room."
"I think you're so funny, you're such a character and your voice is so soulful," said Demi Lovato. "I loved every bit of it."
"You not only have a good voice but you're charming, you're witty and hilarious and I was completely entertained," said Britney Spears.
"Panda, you sound like a legend," said Simon Cowell, "And I love you. I always wanted a panda."
