Lana Del Rey has revealed the artwork to her new single 'Ride', the first track to be taken from the re-issue of her debut album 'Born To Die'.
The shot sees Lana looking typically mournful whilst swinging on a tyre, proof perhaps that no fun activity will ever quell her existential pain and general gloomy demeanour.
The tracklisting for Lana Del Rey's upcoming re-release of her Born To Die album leaked earlier this month, revealing that the new version of the number one album will include her cover of Nirvana's 'Heart Shaped Box'.
The 'Video Games' star first covered the grunge classic in July of this year. Now a studio version is set to appear on the Paradise Edition of her 2012 No.1 album.
Website Lanadelreyfan.com has revealed the apparent tracklist for the additional disc set for release at the end of the year. The website lists the tracks as 'Paradise', 'Ride', 'Young and Beautiful', 'Heart Shaped Box', I Sing The Body Electric', 'Blue Velvet', 'In The Land of Gods and Angels' and 'JFK'. Many of whom she has been performing at live shows through 2012.
Courtney Love addressed the 'Heart Shaped Box' cover version earlier this year, taking to Twitter to remind Lana Del Rey about the intimate meaning of the song's lyrics.
