Muse, The xx and Beach Boys to kick off new series of Later... tonight

Muse and The xx will appear live on BBC2 this evening as Later... with Jools Holland kicks off its 41st series.

Both bands will be appearing live to perform songs from their new albums. Muse will give fans a preview of material from the forthcoming album 'The 2nd Law' whilst The xx will play tracks from recent number one hit 'Coexist'.

Iconic band The Beach Boys will also be in the studio with Jools ahead of their gig at London's Royal Albert Hall o Thursday, September 29.

The impressive line up will be completed by John Lydon's PiL and Natalie Duncan. Other guests due to perform throughout the new series include Mumford & Sons and Bobby Womack.
