More about:

Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose has demanded an LA photographer close her current gallery exhibition, claiming a photo in the show defames the rocker.

The photographer, Laura London, is currently displaying her work in a collection called 'Once Upon A Time... Axl Rose was my neighbour'. The exhibition includes a photo of what London claims is a photo of Rose's garage door - with the words 'Sweet Child of Die' spray painted on it.

She claims that Rose spray-painted the door himself during a row with then-wife, Erin Everly.

In a statement from his lawyers, published by US website TMZ, Rose denies that the door in the photo was his, and demands the show is cancelled.

The letter reads: "Mr. Rose never spray-painted anything. Your salacious and inflammatory statements are plainly designed to garner attention and line your pockets with money."

Since the letter was received by the photographer, TMZ claims the description of the photo has changed - but remains on display.
