Former Smiths frontman and solo headline-making machine, Morrissey, claims Prince Harry is 'an absolute idiot' and Kate Middleton is 'shockingly cruel'.
Morrissey, who has never hid his anti-royal feelings, has spoken about Harry's infamous Las Vegas party, which ended with the Prince photographer drunk, naked and 'cavorting' with a female friend.
"I wasn't surprised by Harry in Vegas because he's always been an absolute idiot," said Morrissey in an interview with News.com.au in Australia. "The monarchy is foremost a business, and it's important to them that the British public continue to finance the excessive luxurious lifestyles of the now quite enormous, wasteful and useless 'royal' family. I find it very sad."
He also shared his views on Harry's brother and his wife, the future King and Queen of England, Prince William and Kate Middleton.
"William shoots deer, Kate's favourite food is the shockingly cruel fois gras, Harry shoots water buffalo," headded. "They are the most dysfunctional, unpleasant and arrogant people on the planet. A sour soap opera, and they should resign and retire.
"Can you imagine how the Prime Minister of Argentina viewed Harry in Vegas? Or the Pope? Or the Archbishop of Canterbury?"
