Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl has revealed that he does not know what the future holds for his band, as they played their last gig for some time over the weekend.

Grohl and his bandmates played their final date in support of latest album 'Wasting Light' at Global Citizen Festival in New York's Central Park on Saturday (Sept 29).

Speaking to the Huffington Post after the show, Grohl said: "Without making a big deal out of it, we don't have any shows after this. This is it, man.

"This is the show where we come out and we play as many songs as we can in a short period of time, because, honestly, I don't know when we're gonna do it again and this is the perfect place to do it, right now, tonight."

Grohl previously had to deny rumours that the band were splitting after telling the audience at Reading Festival that the band would not be back any time soon.
