Axl Rose has agreed to a very rare live television interview on US chat show Jimmy Kimmel Live in order to promote the upcoming Guns ‘N’ Roses shows at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

The controversial singer hasn’t done a sit-down live television interview in over 20 years but with a 12 date residency that hasn’t sold out to promote, Rose is set to break his live TV hiatus.

The “Appetite for Democracy” shows run from October 31st to November 24th with Rose set to appear on the Wednesday 24th October Jimmy Kimmel show. The Las Vegas concerts celebrate 25 years since the release of Guns ‘N’ Roses pioneering 1987 album ‘Appetite for Destruction.’

Axl Rose’s last television appearance was November 2011, when the hosts of VH1's That Metal Show went backstage at a Guns ‘N’ Roses tour stop.

Axl Rose has been a constant source of entertainment in recent years with bizarre outbursts and crazy actions, most recently taking offence at an LA who included a photo of a garage door in her exhibition, said to have once belonged to the GNR rocker. He denied it was his and demanded she remove it from her collection.
